Quote of the Month

"When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor."

~Psalm 8: 3-5, The Holy Bible (NIV)

The Storm Within

It is dark,
I alone am powerful.
Controlling the winds,
I cry with shame.
For I am alone,
In this dark world.

I embrace the world,
And light the land.
As I watch the trees burn,
I scream - horrified.
I am in so much pain,
It will not leave.

Believing in hurt and hate,
I understand why I'm this way.
So, I weep without ceasing.
I call to the winds,
And tell them to scorch the earth
To spread the anger in my soul.

All is quiet,
The darkness still remains.
My power's vanished.
The winds are freed from me.
I am disappearing in this black world.

I forever am alone..
